Brokerage

The main function of Omni Energy is to do the intermediation of Natural Gas between a buying party and another selling party. There are great advantages of using a broker in the markets of 'utilities' such as Natural Gas, since they have a great similarity to financial markets.

First of all, given that we know this market and have the power to represent the interests of our clients before the main actors in the supply of molecules, transport services and distribution, we can make successful negotiations that optimize costs as along the entire value chain.

Second, brokers have the tools and resources to reach the largest possible base of buyers. A molecule supplier or a carrier, on the other hand, especially the newest ones in the market, will probably not have the same access to customers as the broker. An indisputable advantage of using a broker is the cost, since it can be cheaper to make contracts with potential suppliers, given its critical mass in:

1) Purchase volume
2) Contacts and regulatory knowledge
3) Acquisition of convenient spot volume at the moment

In summary, Omni Energy will obtain savings in the negotiation of the Natural Gas of its customers, in exchange for a 'success fee' (commission for success) which is paid once the savings have been obtained. This Commission is included in the supplier's invoice to the client and paid by it to us once payment has been received from the client, that is, we are intermediaries.
