Brokerage
The main function of Omni Energy is to make the intermediation of electricity between a buying party and another selling party. There are great advantages to using a broker in the markets of 'utilities' such as electricity, since they have a great similarity to financial markets.
In the first place, given that we know this market and have the power to represent the interests of our clients before the main actors in power generation and supply, we can make successful negotiations that optimize costs along the entire value chain .
Second, brokers have the tools and resources to reach the largest possible base of buyers. A generator or a supplier, on the other hand, especially a new one in the market, will probably not have the same access to customers as the broker. An indisputable advantage of using a broker is the cost, which can be cheaper to make contracts with potential suppliers, given its critical mass in:
1) Purchase volume
2) Contacts and regulatory knowledge
3) Acquisition of convenient spot volume
In summary, Omni Energy will obtain savings in the negotiation of the energy of its customers, in exchange for a 'success fee' (commission for success) which is paid once the savings have been obtained. This Commission is included in the supplier's invoice and paid by it once the payment has been received from the client, that is, we are intermediaries.
